These terms govern your use of the Budget Meal Planner & Grocery Android app and this website, provided by JoZarqa (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Allergies and health. The app helps you plan meals. It is not medical or dietary advice. Allergy and diet filters work from the ingredient lists in our recipes, not from the products you buy. Brands differ and may contain allergens or animal products that our lists do not show. If you have an allergy or medical condition, always read product labels and ask a doctor or dietitian.

1. The app

The app generates weekly dinner plans and grocery lists from a built-in recipe library based on the budget, household size, diet, allergies and appliances you enter. It is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising.

2. Estimates, not guarantees

Prices are estimates based on typical US supermarket costs. They are not live prices from any store, and your real total will differ.
Calories and macros are calculated from typical ingredient values and are approximate.
Cooking times and temperatures are guidelines. Cook meat, poultry, fish and eggs until they are safely cooked, and follow food-safety guidance for your region.

3. Using the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices for your own non-commercial use. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app or its recipe library, scrape its content, or interfere with the ads or the way the app works.

4. Ads

The app shows ads from third parties. We are not responsible for the content of those ads or for products and services they promote. Please do not click ads repeatedly or on purpose to support us; it breaks advertising rules.

5. Ownership

The app, its recipes, text, design and code belong to JoZarqa or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Your preferences and favorites remain yours.

6. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any plan will suit your needs. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on estimated prices, nutrition values, or ingredient labeling, or from allergic reactions or food-borne illness. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

8. Ending use, and changes

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may change or discontinue the app, and we may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory protections of the country where you live.
