Everything you need to plan the week
No more 6pm “what’s for dinner?” and no extra trip for the one thing you forgot.
Budget cap
Set a weekly limit. The plan stays under it, and if your filters leave no plan that fits, the app says so and shows the cheapest one it found.
Grocery list by aisle
Ingredients from every dinner are merged, scaled to your household, priced, and grouped by aisle. Tick items off as you shop and see what is left to buy.
Diets and allergies
Vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian plans, and filters for gluten, dairy, egg, nuts, fish, shellfish and soy.
Swap any meal
Do not fancy Wednesday? Swap that one dinner, or redo the whole week. A week never repeats the same main protein when there are enough options.
Calories and macros
Every recipe shows calories, protein, carbs and fat per serving, with clear step-by-step instructions and a servings control.
Your kitchen
Plan around the oven, stovetop, air fryer or slow cooker you actually own. Lean the week toward high protein, quick, comfort food or cheap meals.
Favorites and past weeks
Heart the recipes you love. Every week you replace is saved, so you can cook a good one again with one tap.
Private by design
No account and no sign-up. Your budget, diet and plans stay on your phone. Read the privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions
Is Budget Meal Planner really free?
Yes. There is no subscription and no paywall. Every feature is free, and the app is supported by ads.
How does the meal planner stay within my budget?
Each recipe has an estimated cost scaled to the number of people you cook for. The app picks seven dinners whose total stays under your weekly cap. If your diet, allergy and appliance filters leave no plan under the cap, it shows the cheapest plan it found and tells you it is over.
Are the grocery prices exact?
No. Prices are estimates based on typical US supermarket costs, not live prices from a particular store. Use them to compare weeks and plan a budget, and expect your receipt to differ.
Does it work for vegetarian, vegan and allergy diets?
Yes. You can plan vegetarian, vegan or pescatarian weeks and exclude gluten, dairy, egg, nuts, fish, shellfish and soy. Recipes are labeled from their ingredient lists, so always check product labels yourself if you have a serious allergy.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up. Your preferences, plans and favorites are stored on your device only.
Does it work offline?
The recipes are built into the app, so planning and cooking work without a connection. Ads need an internet connection to load.
How many recipes are there?
There are 300 dinner recipes across stir-fries, sheet-pan meals, curries, pasta, tacos, soups, air-fryer meals, slow-cooker meals, bowls, bakes, fried rice and burgers.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. The app is built for Android first.
